Previous Portfolio

One of the portfolio companies from our previous fund is iNest Realty Inc., the leading new-home builder referral network, specializing in serving builders and buyers of newly constructed homes (www.inest.com). Origin Ventures, LLC was the sole investor in the Series A round for iNest in 1999 and participated in iNest's Series B round financing in 2000. In addition to the capital invested by Origin Ventures in iNest, the principals of Origin Ventures were instrumental in advising management of iNest through its early stage and growth phase. While iNest was an independent company it sold over 10,000 homes valued at more than $2 billion. In 2004 iNest was sold to Lending Tree, a division of Interactive Corp., resulting in a major financial success for Origin Ventures, LLC and its investors.
