Carolina is an Investor at Origin Ventures, and joined the team in 2022.

She started her career in IT consulting, where she worked with Telecom titans on building their internal systems and processes. She subsequently worked in various Product Management roles at consumer marketplaces, including Care.com; and at a couple of early stage VC firms, including Chingona Ventures and Female Founders Fund.

She completed her B.A. at Trinity College, from where she graduated magna cum laude and highest honors in both her majors, while competing as a 4-year varsity coxswain on the Men’s Rowing Team. She completed her M.B.A. at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, where she majored in Finance. Outside the classroom, she was the co-President of Kellogg’s Entrepreneurship and VC club; and worked on several Kellogg-founded startups including Rhetoric, Ridge, and Beni. She was also on the executive team of the Hispanic Management Association.

Carolina loves dogs, is certified in teaching yoga and meditation, and on a journey to perfect her espresso martini recipe.
