Prashant is a Partner at Origin Ventures, joining the firm in 2017.
Prashant began his career at Bain & Company, advising technology clients on strategic questions around emerging technologies. He also worked with telecom, healthcare, and education clients.
After Bain, Prashant joined Metromile, the leading pay-per-mile auto insurer, in an operational role. Serving as the first product manager, he helped scale the business to over $100M in revenue, three hundred employers, and over $200M raised in equity financing.
Prashant holds undergraduate degrees in Economics, Business, and Environmental Economics & Policy from the University of California at Berkeley, and MBA and MPP degrees from the University of Chicago.
He loves basketball, travel, politics, and poker.
