Aisle50’s technology solution is unique in the CPG-grocery space, as it grants consumers large discounts upfront in exchange for a subscription commitment to the CPG product. Redemption is handled 100% electronically through a back-end connection from Aisle50 to grocery store loyalty card programs. Clients include Procter & Gamble, Starbucks, Coca-Cola, General Mills, and Kellogg’s.

The Aisle50 technology stack, built on RoR, was built with a dynamic abstraction layer, allowing for quick interfaces with any of the disparate point-of-sale software providers in the retail world, a significant edge in a complicated retailer market. Aisle50’s software includes built-in CRM that tracks customers across platforms and keeps brands well-informed on what works, digitally, and what does not, for every label and market.

Aisle50 was acquired by Groupon in February 2015.
